NGC2770 is a
Mag 12 spiral galaxy that is estimated to be 81 million light years
away (there is little other information available on the internet).
2007uy was detected on 31/12/2007. In Jan 08 an XRF was detected
at a different location in the same galaxywhich built in intensity
for 50s then decayed over the next 10 minutes. There was nothing
visible until the next day when sn2008D was first seen. Click here

Around 371 million years ago, in
a fairly anonymous galaxy that we call MGC +5-43-16, an unusual
event occurred -a star exploded in a Type II
supernova. The really unusual thing, is that this was followed two
weeks later by another supernova - this time a type 1a.
sn2007ck is about Mag 17.5
sn2007co is about Mag 15.8
