Our subscription year runs from January, new members joining at other times have their first year's subscription reduced pro rata. A copy of the Society Constitution and Rules can be found here.

Visitor 

Adults £2.00 per person per visit 

Juniors admitted free of charge

Visitors are welcome to take part in the club activities for the evening of attendance only.   Visitors will be provided with a copy of the club's programme of activities and speakers. Loan of club books and voting at annual general meetings are not available to visiting members.   Your last visit fee is refunded if you become a member.

Full Member

£15.00 per annum

Allows attendance by one person at all meetings, the right to take part in annual general meetings, loan of books, notification of and participation in, any special events such as visits.

Additional Family Member

£10.00 per annum

Benefits are as for full membership but allows attendance by the persons named on the application. There is no fixed definition of what constitutes a family group. 

Junior / Student Member

£2.00 per annum

Benefits are as for full membership for those under the age of 18 or in full time education.

Junior Members Please note:

The Society places the highest priority on the protection of children (under the age of 18 years) from abuse whilst attending its meetings. Until recognised guidelines are available, children shall only be permitted to attend when accompanied by an adult. If the Society is invited to an event, it shall be made clear to the organisers of the event that they are responsible for the protection of the children participating.
