- PLI (Public Liability Insurance) issues
- PLI has been renewed for 2022 but the documentation will not be available until April.
Action: Once documentation has been received it will be compared to other society’s “stand alone” cover and recommendations made. – JR/DT
- MemberMojo – KP/SG
- Free trial of MemberMojo will expire in March.
- Member groups have been set up for emailing society business, newsletters, etc.
- GDPR is well covered
- New members will receive a “Welcome Pack”
- Fees rationalised to cover family groups etc.
- Attendance register available
- EG requires a membership list for issuing library books or equipment
Action: Agreement to proceed with MM? – All – Complete
- Return to Aldershot – KP
- 8th March meeting both ACC and Zoom.
- KP to initiate Zoom meeting at 18:45 and transfer hosting to either AC or CR
- KP and SG to control entry with assistance from KR
- KP and SG will “Meet and Greet” new members
- Teas will be provided by LW and R?
- Bar to be staffed by ACC staff.
- COVID safety – request attendees respect other members and maintain sensible distances.
- KP to display Skywatcher 127mm scope
- DT to display Lunt 65mm solar scope
- David Lawes SkyWatcher GoTo AZ reflector telescope donation – EG
- SkyWatcher 127mm 1500mm Maksutov Cassegrain on Azimuth mount with GoTo. Collected by KP and appears to be in good working order.
