Farnham Astronomical Society has a long history of supporting outreach activities with local youth organisations, and historically we have tried to support as many as we can.
Regrettably our programme is currently on hold, due to lack of available volunteers.
We hope this situation is temporary, but sadly, we are unable to support any further requests this season.
In our absence, there are other local organisations that may be able to help.
We suggest you try contacting other local astronomy societies, such as:
- Cody Astronomical Society: https://www.codyastrosoc.co.uk/
- Guildford Astronomical Society: https://www.guildfordas.org/newsitestaging/
There’s a local business that runs stargazing events for young people on a commercial basis…
- Mission Astro: https://www.missionastro.org/
Alternatively, you may care to check out events such as:
- the University of Surrey runs monthly “astronomy evenings”: https://www.surrey.ac.uk/astrophysics-group/events
- the Winchester Science Centre runs monthly “night sky”: events: https://www.winchestersciencecentre.org/whats-on
So sorry we can’t help directly, but we hope one of these alternatives may prove more fruitful for you.
